First off, I would like to say thank you for visiting my site. My name is Mariah Kissel and I am Judy’s caregiver.

I have been taking care of my mother since May of 2005. I guess the best way to understand the reason for my blog is to go back and read one of my very first posts Judy’s Dementia. I am also here to be a voice for other caregivers and to help with research and support for anyone taking care of an elderly parent.

My goals are simple:
1) To share my mothers story with the world

2) To let caregivers know they are not alone

3) To ask questions and give information on this debilitating disease.
